How to Screenshot on Windows

First, you will need to open the window that you want to take a screenshot of. Once the window is open, press the “PrtScn” button on your keyboard. This button is typically located near the top of the keyboard, and it may say “PrtScn” or “Print Screen.” If you can’t find the “PrtScn” button, try looking for the “Fn” key on your keyboard. The “Fn” key is usually located in the lower-left corner of the keyboard. Pressing and holding down the “Fn” key while pressing the “PrtScn” button should take a screenshot of your entire screen.

If you only want to take a screenshot of the active window, you can press the “Alt” key and the “PrtScn” button at the same time. This will take a screenshot of just the active window.

Once you have pressed the appropriate keys, open up an image editing program like Paint or Photoshop. In the image editing program, press “Ctrl” + “V” to paste the screenshot. You should now see your screenshot in the image editor! From here, you can save the file and share it with others.
